This past weekend I had the honor and priveledge to shoot the 50th wedding anniversary celebration of a wonderful couple , John and Linda Skelly, who truly embody the totality of love and the family that they created from their love for each other. Below are just a few of my favs from the day. The entire 500+ photos can be viewed at www.naturalreflections.zenfolio.com. I have the coming weekend off…but will be spending it with inlaws. I will surely have my camera on my two adorable neices and my nephew. They are always good for some beautiful moments. Please stop by again soon!

I enjoyed getting together with my friend Judith over the weekend. She shares her beautiful horse, Thyke (prounounced Theka) with me as we shoot for her Christmas card. We got some really wonderful shots this year. I’m posting a few here, but check out the entire gallery on my gallery site….www.naturalreflections.zenfolio.com.

I just returned from visiting with my husband’s family for Thanksgiving. I can’t leave without grabbing some great photos of my two neices – Skylar and Sarille and my nephew – Sage. SkylarSarilleBaby Sarille just getting up from her napAnd brother Sage

Jim and Melanie, friends, have announced their engagement. I have watched this romance blossom and bloom over the last year and a half and couldn’t be happier for them! I was honored when they asked me to shoot their engagement pics! We went to the City Dock in Fredericksburg on a beautiful fall day.

John and Aimee, an amazingly graceful couple. John was from the Shenandoah Valley. He found his way to Connecticut, met Aimee through Match.com. They came back to the Shenandoah Valley to share their wedding with friends and family. They had the most amazing fall day to be married and their venue was the rustic outdoor ShrineMont at Orkney Springs. John, Aimee and family welcomed me and made me feel part of the family. They even had a place set at the tables dressed with my own name card! I’m usually hanging out in some corner downloading photos while the group eats their meal. Thanks John and Aimee and best wishes for a beautiful life together!

And it only took half a century! I just turned 50 last week and I am finally stepping outside my box and really enjoying myself. Anyone out there…let me know how 50+ is!
